Inttl Advocare has announced the opening of its new office in Kolkata.

The initial growth part of the Kolkata office will be steered by Pragya Jain, who focuses on trademark opposition, litigation, design law, and copyright protection, helping clients strategically protect and enforce their intellectual property with practical, results-driven solutions.

The start of the Kolkata office represents another step towards strengthening client accessibility, expanding national reach and strengthening the firm’s commitment to offering strategic, business-aligned IP counsel to its diverse client base across sectors and geographies.

Reflecting on this milestone, Founder & Managing Partner, Hemant Singh, shared,

“Kolkata occupies a unique position in India’s economic, cultural and creative space. The city has long served as a bustling center for art, craftsmanship, industry and innovation. As more businesses, startups and creative enterprises emerge from the Eastern region, the need for sophisticated intellectual property advice and protection has grown greatly. Our presence in Kolkata gives us the chance to work closely with clients across Eastern and North-Eastern India, while also contributing to the strengthening of the local IP sector. Being on the ground helps us build deeper relationships, respond swiftly to client needs, and offer the same level of dedicated service that Inttl Advocare has always stood for.”

Mamta Rani Jha, Co-Managing Partner, added,

“Our growth has always been anchored in investing in talent and leadership from within the firm. At Inttl Advocare, we believe in building a team that blends technical expertise with sincerity of purpose and long-term client dedication. Pragya Jain, who will be starting the Kolkata Office operations, has been a meritorious choice for our initial presence there. Her strong grasp of legal strategy, coupled with her client-centric approach, reflects the values Inttl Advocare stands for as a company. I am sure that this is an important first step in establishing and strengthening our footprint in the eastern region.”

With this expansion, Inttl Advocare further consolidates its footprint across key Indian legal and commercial hubs, now working from Delhi NCR, Mumbai, Bengaluru and Kolkata.
